❉ ... SRM & Teachers ... ❉

What do they have in common? They both ROCK. They also help to make the world a better place.

Who knew...SRM Stickers & teachers!!!

Patrick and Mackenzie are blessed to go to a FABULOUS school...they have a supportive, loving environment to thrive in and grow. I wanted to do something so very special for their teachers...but the fact is, they have 8 teachers between them and I didn't have a budget to do what I wanted to do.

I reached down into the creative vault..and came up with these frames. I also used great tubes from SRM too and let the kids personalize te gift further by stuffing the tubes with each teacher's favorite kind of chocolate.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

★ ☆ ✮ ✯ SRM & OPERATION WRITE HOME ✯ ✮ ☆ ★

This weekend SRM Stickers is a part of something really spectacular!

Operation Write Home is celebrating Memorial Day in a big way with a Blog Hop of epic proportions!

I am very proud to be a part of this blog hop!

Their mission is “Supporting our nation’s armed forces by sending blank homemade greeting cards to write home on as well as “AnyHero” cards of gratitude to encourage them.”

The Design Team at SRM Stickers was hard at work creating cards to support this mission! OWH challenged scrappers everywhere to use any of the many sketches available on OWH's site.

Here's how I was inspired:

You'll love their versatility and you'll be grabbing them again and again for your paper crafting needs. Good luck! Have fun hopping... We'll provide a set to a random comment author each day for the next 3 days! The winners will be announced on the SRM Stickers Blog on Wednesday, May 30th.

It's Sunday! Happy Victoria Day to all my Canadian friends!

I am sharing Creative Scrappers Sketch #209 with you this morning. (It's a versatile, fun sketch!)

It's a great sketch created by Amarilys with lots of great spaces for you to add details and layers to your layout! The Creative Team created a beautiful reveal for this sketch:

Here's how the sketch inspired me:

Have a wonderful Sunday!!

Hope you can find some scrappy time this weekend (well, what's left of it!).

*{Tuesday is Taken}*

Tuesday is a busy day. There's lots going on in the land of Morgan today. The end of the school year is fast approaching. I am really truly looking forward to the slow down (though it won't really slow down...but I like to least I will be able to sleep in). Mackenzie has informed me that she is too. Patrick hasn't slept in since he was 3 so...there's no rest for the wicked.

I wanted to share with you today Workout #68 which is over at ScrapFIT!

It is featuring Missy Whidden and her love of misting, she is a super talented scrapper, so it is well deserved!

Here's the challenge:

If you are regular here at ScrapFIT you must have noticed our wonderful Weekend Warm Up Coach, Missy's love of MISTING!  Missy does amazing things with mist including making it herself! So this Workout is a tribute to Missy!  We want to see a layout or project with a good amount of misting!  Be creative, make your own misting mask, mix your mist colors - think outside the box!

Here's how the challenge inspired me, I created a canvas to hang in our house --> or perhaps Karl's office as he told me he is going to kidnap it and take it.

Sara is once again featuring a prize from:

Thank you to Vicky for sponsoring both of the prizes this month!! You ROCK!

{。^◕‿◕^。} Celebrating Karl a Bit {。^◕‿◕^。}

I have a few projects being featured over at

SRM Stickers today...

(I love designing for SRM ❤ still can't get over it that I am on this team!)

I worked with the Father's Day stickers for the post. The stickers as I have mentioned to you before are beyond versatile. I enjoyed working on this feature because Karl is a great Dad. I know everyone says that about their husband, but he truly is a good father. He laughs with them, cries with them, boosts them up when they need it...he tells them how it is, whether they want to hear it or not...and he is the balance to my lunatic-ness, yelling because I stepped on a LEGO and I am empty threating to throw them all out. He deserves a bit of a brag and here's a layout and little thing I whipped up for him using SRM!

The team created so many different takes on this layout -- you really need to hop over and check out the versatility this sketch lends to a scrapper -- there are so many ways you can interpret it.

Here's my take on it:

*{#207, Shannon M.}*

★·.·´¯`·.·★ Have a SMASHing Friday ★·.·´¯`·.·★

I really needed it to be Friday today. I am thankful it's finally here. This week has been a week, though I am glad to say that hopefully it will get back to normal within the next few days. I like normal, normal is good.

One way I deal with the needing normalcy...scrapbooking. This year I embarked on a different road -- everyone is doing project life, weekly journals, 365 day challenges, Smash type books...I like all those things, but I cannot (though my life is quite uneventful) keep up with the pressure to maintain that -- I have a lot of different distractions and I am squirrely -- so that format just didn't work for me -- but I did WANT to document everyday things -- and be able to look back and remember, so I am going against the grain, doing my own thing. I tend to do this often and I probably always will as it is just my Shannon-ish way. So my Smash-type is usually one entry like a month...or it is broken up into two entries if our month gets super cuh-razy. (Yeah we're crazy - sometimes we stay up past 10pm)

SRM Stickers is featuring my entries each month because I use their stickers in my entries -- because I ♥ LOVE ♥ THEM! I can't tell you enough how awesome they are in texture and versatility -- and how great they are to work with. If you haven't worked with really need to get your hands on some!!! The possibilities are endless!

Here are my entries being featured on the SRM blog today:

☼ Happy May Day! May 1st. ☼

It's May! How fun is that?!?!

May 1st means that it's May Day. Too bad that isn't observed traditionally anymore! Now it's sadly a day of political protest. Not going to let that get me down. There are too many things to look forward to this Jasma's Birthday, Cinna's Birthday, Mother's Day, the last day of school (hooray for sleeping in), Memorial Day...I am sure I am leaving something out, so forgive me.

I will celebrate today by sharing with you the brand new workout that is up at ScrapFIT! It's consists of creating a project, layout or card with a doily! Who doesn't love a doily?!?!?

Here's how I was inspired by the challenge:

Get rolling on this challenge! The prize up for grabs is a great one from

Vicky Alberto at Dusty Attic Chipboard!

Have a great Tuesday!
