In light of yesterday, I think everyone needs a little love and joy today. The world as we know it is forever changed again. As we all grieve collectively and seperately for the families in Connecticut...remember Jesus was born at night, he was brought into a dark world during chaotic times, during Herod's evil reign and Roman occupation and oppression...HE came into this world to be a light, a beacon, a guide...a savior. HE gave the world hope, faith and love. Keep believing in these, they are the greatest gifts you can believe in, they are the greatest gifts you can give and also recieve. Be the light. Make the choice each day to be grateful. Be grateful for all the things in your life...and remember that even though you may fail God daily, his love for you never fails. This time is dark and bleak for so many, the greatest gift you can give to them is prayer. Pray for them to have strength, lift up their heavy hearts...send them your love. They will feel it.
“Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.”
― Mother Teresa
Christmas is coming like Papa Bear rolling down the hill like a giant snowball in The Bears' Christmas...and if you get that reference then you are awesome. I know the last thing you are thinking of right now is scrapbooking or being creative in any sort of the word...but there are still some of us who live in denial that Christmas is ten days away, happily procrastinating in a land of unicorns with santa hats, sparkly trees and glittery snowmen....I am sharing a ScrapFIT Workout with you today. The super talented Diana Fisher created this sketch (which is sure to inspire you to create a quick layout!):
Here's how Diana's sketch inspired me:
