☞☆Twining in the New Year☆☜

I'll be bringing in the brand New Year like Charles the stroke of midnight, I'll chase all my blues away....(most likely I will be struggling to stay up at midnight, but I have promised Paddy and Mack we will ring it in together.)

For me, 2013 is already off to a great start as I was asked to join the Timeless Twine Team and be a Twine-ista along with a whole bunch of talented scrappers and crafters. ♡

I am so excited to be sharing that with you!

I will be working alongside these talented peeps:

❄№➁➃➀☞Snowflakes That Stay on My Nose & Eyelashes☜№➁➃➀❄

❄ finally snowed...flurries...Jack Frost is forever our friend...❄

It's Sunday, January 30th and a lot of you are preparing for 2013...getting ready for parties and family gatherings. Perhaps you are preparing yourself for resolutions and goals, prepping journals, writing things down..all in hopes of change and that this will be the year...yep, me too! I'm also clinging to every second that my mom is still here visiting. The time went so fast, and it never seems long enough, I can't wait to see her again.

I am full of aspirations and dreams for 2013, some of them reachable...others extremely far-fetched, but I will try anyway. I acheived a lot in 2012, so who knows what 2013 will bring. One of my aspirations for 2013 is to keep on working with Kristine at Creative Scrappers ❤...her site provides endless inspiration and the talent on her team is immense. She is seriously talented and gives so much of herself and her time to keep everyone inspired. So proud to be a part of her team!

Sketch #241 is up this week on the blog and it was created by Kristine:

You'll find this sketch really easy to create with!

☛◎♡{A Little Thank You Never Hurt Anyone}♡◎☚

I am sure by now most of the holiday hoopla is over and you are Christmas lagged and feeling bloated from rich foods and sweet things that were consumed in abundance over this long weekend. Or maybe you are ready to put it behind you....and are trying to take Christmas decorations but your husband won't let you, so you keep sneaking things back into storage. Perhaps you are happily in denail and are anticipating ringing in the new year with your friends and/or loved ones...I hope it's a happy mental place wherever you are. 2013...I remain in denial that it is coming...not ready, but it will come I will try to embrace it...with my usual stubborness, resistance and need to control the situation...sigh.

An important thing that goes along with the holidays is being grateful and thankful for thoughtful gifts received, is a thank you note. This seems to be a lost cursive, reading JD Salinger and Harper Lee, making paper chains...I could go on...but this focus is on a cute thank you note I created for SRM Stickers and features their new glassine bags, which are awesome! The possibilities are endless with these bags!

Here's just one example of what you can do:

I hope you are having a great eve to eve..I am also hoping you are finding time to create ✎ if that's your thing. Pretty much I am sending you love and wishes for a happy week. ❤

❄❅❆◦◦◦◦It's Winter! The World Didn't End!◦◦◦◦❆❅❄

So this is the perfect time to share with you....what I have been waiting so long to share with you! ❤

This year has been full of surprises, mostly good. I have a really hard time sharing things about myself that are about me, specifically. I have no problem telling you about Paddy and Mack, Karl, the crazy dogs...those things come so easy to me.

I don't quite know a clever way to share with you other than just blurting it out....I have worked really hard the past few years trying to make it in the world of scrap. I have been blessed with many opportunities and I work with really great people...this has brought me to the present.

My designs are featured in a book...not a magazine, a book! I am the sole designer in this book...I still can't believe it's real! I still feel like it's fiction...but it isn't! It's the real deal!

The best part of this book is it appeals to quilters and papercrafters...I am very excited to be sharing this with you! I know I have some multi-craft-talented friends out there!

It's available over at Annie's, Quilted Table Accents for $16.95:

A BIG THANK YOU TO CAROLYN for believing in me!!!! That is the best gift of all!!

I hope everyone is heading off into a wonderful holiday weekend and thank you for letting me sahre with you! ❤

❤➁➂➈❅Sunday Always Comes Too Late..❅➁➂➈❤'s Sunday already, this week was pretty much a blur.

...the amazing comfort in Mom will be here six days, she's coming to celebrate Christmas. That makes all of the last minute craziness of this upcoming week bearable. The kids have big assessments, Christmas parties and projects to finish...I am maniacal in my mission to make this Christmas season special...cramming in as many little special things, while maintaining our traditions. the midst of this, I keep creating. ...I keep telling you this is possible, because it really is. Creative Scrappers brings you inspiring sketches weekly, here's #239 created by Heather Leopard:

Here's what I created with her sketch:

❅⁕➇➁⁕❆ Some Saturday Inspiration ❆⁕➇➁⁕❅

In light of yesterday, I think everyone needs a little love and joy today. The world as we know it is forever changed again. As we all grieve collectively and seperately for the families in Connecticut...remember Jesus was born at night, he was brought into a dark world during chaotic times, during Herod's evil reign and Roman occupation and oppression...HE came into this world to be a light, a beacon, a guide...a savior. HE gave the world hope, faith and love. Keep believing in these, they are the greatest gifts you can believe in, they are the greatest gifts you can give and also recieve. Be the light. Make the choice each day to be grateful. Be grateful for all the things in your life...and remember that even though you may fail God daily, his love for you never fails. This time is dark and bleak for so many, the greatest gift you can give to them is prayer. Pray for them to have strength, lift up their heavy hearts...send them your love. They will feel it.

“Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.”
― Mother Teresa

Christmas is coming like Papa Bear rolling down the hill like a giant snowball in The Bears' Christmas...and if you get that reference then you are awesome. I know the last thing you are thinking of right now is scrapbooking or being creative in any sort of the word...but there are still some of us who live in denial that Christmas is ten days away, happily procrastinating in a land of unicorns with santa hats, sparkly trees and glittery snowmen....I am sharing a ScrapFIT Workout with you today. The super talented Diana Fisher created this sketch (which is sure to inspire you to create a quick layout!):

Here's how Diana's sketch inspired me:

I am excited to be sharing two things with you today. I have met so many great people in the world of scrap and creativity that we all cohabitate's amazing that you can connect with people all over...people who you normally would never get the chance to be friends with. These are people who you adore working for, people who you enjoy helping and get excited for them as they meet milestones in their journeys... and happiness in knowing you're helping in that journey. I am very lucky to work with and for some great people. One of those people is Sara, I am honored to join Sara and her crew over at ScrapFIT as the Fitness Trainer!

This is also a great time to let you know that there is a new workout at ScrapFIT...and it's a perfect one for this time of the year. The FitGirls provided you with so many different takes on this should be abrim with ideas! The workout is simply this:

Workout #81- I am So Thankful

This time of year I am reminded to be thankful for all the things in my life.  Lets take the time to create a layout that is dedicated to something or many things we have to be thankful for.

Creative Scrappers.

Here's a fabulous sketch to give you the mojo I speak of, easy inspiration, like Sketch #237.
