I created a whole bunch of scrappy goodness using the Imaginisce Good Dog line. I can literally say I only have scraps left of this line.
First off I would like to share a step by step 12X12 canvas project I created.
I started out by painting my canvas. And let it dry.
The next step in the process was using a paint dawber and randomly create polka dots....and let dry.
I cannot have a clean project, so this part is totally optional. I misted the corners of the canvas with three different mists. Let dry, this step takes awhile.
I gathered embellishments and papers. I used my Cricut to cut out the relief of "Cinna & Megs". I also used it to cut out the "Dogbone Bistro" pictured here, the heart and the conversation bubble. Not only are the patterned papers of the line fabulous, but the packaging as well...I actually used the packaging to cut out DOGBONE. SHHH! I'll never tell if you use this trick also! This is the time you can experiment with placement and find a "layout" you really like. (Layer it on... and be sure to take a quick picture of it for reference!!)
Once I find a layout, I begin adhering it all to the canvas. I add a few extra strips of paper or die cuts as I crave balance. I also throw in washi tape. I used my Teresa Collins Megarunner, Teresa Collins Stickermaker and the 2 inch Cheetah Runner to do this. I also outline everything...again this is totally optional for you. You may want a cleaner look. I outlined first in black and then white.
Once I have everything where I want it, I add more dimensionby using the "ends" of things as stamps...I often get asked how I accomplish that...and here's my pro tip...look around your stash, look around in your junk drawers to see what you don't need..or something that can be used as a stamp. I have paint brush tips, pencil ends, mist bottle caps, even my paper piercer has served as a "stamp".
And here is the final result:

I hope you are inspired to create great things!

Thank you so much for looking at all of this! I love sharing with you and I certainly loved working with Xyron and Imaginisce! ❤
