It's Day 4 of the Xyron/Imaginisce Blog Hop! Xyron and Imaginisce are bringing you TONS of inspiration this week! Make sure you stop by the Xyron blog and Facebook page to check them out!

I created a whole bunch of scrappy goodness using the Imaginisce Good Dog line. I can literally say I only have scraps left of this line.

First off I would like to share a step by step 12X12 canvas project I created.

Step by Step 1

I started out by painting my canvas. And let it dry.

Step by Step 2

The next step in the process was using a paint dawber and randomly create polka dots....and let dry.

Step by step 3

I cannot have a clean project, so this part is totally optional. I misted the corners of the canvas with three different mists. Let dry, this step takes awhile.

Step by Step 4

I gathered embellishments and papers.  I used my Cricut to cut out the relief of "Cinna & Megs". I also used it to cut out the "Dogbone Bistro" pictured here, the heart and the conversation bubble. Not only are the patterned papers of the line fabulous, but the packaging as well...I actually used the packaging to cut out DOGBONE. SHHH! I'll never tell if you use this trick also! This is the time you can experiment with placement and find a "layout" you really like. (Layer it on... and be sure to take a quick picture of it for reference!!)

Step by Step 5

Once I find a layout, I begin adhering it all to the canvas. I add a few extra strips of paper or die cuts as I crave balance. I also throw in washi tape.  I used my Teresa Collins Megarunner, Teresa Collins Stickermaker and the 2 inch Cheetah Runner to do this. I also outline everything...again this is totally optional for you. You may want a cleaner look. I outlined first in black and then white.

Step by Step 6

Once I have everything where I want it, I add more dimensionby using the "ends" of things as stamps...I often get asked how I accomplish that...and here's my pro tip...look around your stash, look around in your junk drawers to see what you don't need..or something that can be used as a stamp. I have paint brush tips, pencil ends, mist bottle caps, even my paper piercer has served as a "stamp".

And here is the final result:

❤ Some Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons & Me ❤

I am so very excited to share with you today that I have been asked to join the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Design Team. Lisa Norris had the kindest words to say and I am so very thankful and honored to say yes! She is also beyond talented and you must check out Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons if you haven't done so! ❤

Lisa also asked Brianna Loeffelbein (who is a fellow Twine-ista and I adore her!) & Tanya Adams (<-- this girl has a FABULOUS blog!) to join the team alongside the current members (who are uber-talented!) be sure to stop by and leave them some love also!!

❤ Thanks so much for celebrating this great news with me! ❤

It's that Twine Time again...

It's my turn to post over at Timeless Twine and I am sharing that with you today. ❤

This layout was inspired by Mackenzie, and her confidence and natural ability to pretty much sucessfully do anything without fear. She amazes me each day. She is already more than I will ever be, and she has so far to go. She jokes about being the first woman president, but oddly enough, I can see her doing just that...though she really has her heart set on being a vet and a we'll see. ❤

TIMELESS TWINE 3.19.13 Blog Post

Check back tomorrow, when I will have a few winners from some events we had! We had a lot of crazy, odd things lately and I had to put my focus onto sick dogs, sick kids and sick me! ❤ Have a great Tuesday!!

*{Luck O' The Irish Xyron Style}*

St. Patrick's Day is a much celebrated holiday in the Morgan household...we have relatives still alive today that were straight off the boat from County Cork. Some of our decorations stay up all year long. This is the reason for today's post...many of them say Patrick...which is by no coincidence, my son's name. This is beyond unacceptable to my daughter...who will not hesitate to point these things out to me.

This lead me to create this:

XYRON NEW TEAM 3-13-13, Shannon M.

Yes, it may not say Mackenzie, but...if you know Mackenzie, you will know that Stella Mae is a much beloved nickname and alter ego (as we like to say)..and she answers to it...usually she's being called this in times of great exasperation or goofiness.

I used so much Xyron for this project that I am surprised I have any left! I cannot express how wonderful Xyron porducts are...they are WONDERFUL! (Yes, yes I am yelling that!)

XYRON NEW TEAM, 3.13.13, Shannon M.

I used the following Xyron to create this project which now joins the kitchen wall amongst the Erin Go Bragh goodness:

Teresa Collins Stickermaker

Teresa Collins Mega Runner

Gluestick for Corners

2" Cheetah Runner

Adhesive Eraser Cube

Did you know that Xyron has a Pinterest Page? You can find lots of inspiration from the designers! There is something for everyone!!! Make sure you are checking out Xyron's Facebook Page as well...there is always something going on..and keep up with Xyron on Beth Kingston's blog Ain't She Crafty. Don't miss out on all the ways to have Xyron in your life!

*{Lucky}* adjective \ˈlə-kē\

1. having good luck.

2. happening by chance : fortuitous

3. producing or resulting in good by chance : favorable

4. seeming to bring good luck <a lucky rabbit's foot>

I am lucky.

Things I am lucky for: my faith, my family, my friends, music, books, cartoons, caffeine, ability to do what I love and share it with others.

Today I will be sharing a banner I created for Timeless Twine.

Each letter is wrapped in one of three Timeless Twine colors...Lemonade Yellow, Aqua Blue and Olive Green

I totally enjoyed creating this banner...dabbling with paints and ink....and adding texture and of course bling.

Take a look (I apologize in advance for the picture explosion ahead!):
