*{Enough of the May Flowers...}*

June is peeking's burning, sweltering, sweaty, melting approaching....I hear June hissing, crackling and popping it's way here.

I haven't gone into hiding quite yet, perhaps this is because I am acclimating, or perhaps it's because I am in denial that it is June. Yes, it's probably that.

I am sharing a layout I created for a post that's up on Paper Issues today...providing some last minute inspiration for the current issue which is Lifestyles to "Die" For sponsored by Lifestyle still have time, limited time, but if you want have time to create something! There are 7, count 'em 7 sets up for for each of the Paper Issues Team participating on this issue...and one from Paper Issues! The prize includes dies and Shape N Tape...and I can tell you that both of these things are amazing to work with!

Here's a little inspiration for you:

♥♡❤♡☞ Xyron & Bo Bunny Blog Hop Day 4 ☜♡❤♡♥

All week long Xyron and Bo Bunny have been partnering up to bring you some great inspiration in a week long Blog Hop!

I created a two page layout for this occasion....I know that a lot of scrapbookers struggle with the dreaded two pager! Even better, I will take you through my layout step by step to hopefully encourage you or inspire you to create one.

Of course you need to gather materials:

X:BB Tutorial 1

Once you have gathered materials, if you is the time to mist your base. This part is totally optional.

X:BB Tutorial 3

I am sure other people do this, but I am sharing this super duper trick with you on how I keep my layout perfectly type A. The key to 2 page layouts is balance. To do this, I flip over my pages and butt them up together. I then run tape down the seam. See below.

X:BB Tutorial 2

The next step...of course, flip the paper over. It's now time to begin with that whole balance thing. I base this on the number of photos, papers that inspired me in the first place, ebellishments, etc. I start out though by establishing where I want my photos. They are the real stars of your layout.

X:BB Tutorial 4

Once you have that layed out, you can begin building your layers.

X:BB Tutorial 5

Add as many or as little layers as you wish, this is all personal preference.

X:BB Tutorial 6

I chose three's a weird odd number thing. It's ridiculous and drives my family crazy.

X:BB Tutorial 7

This is the point...again giving you a little tip here...*snap a photo of it* because you have to glue it all down, but that means you will have to dissect everything you just layed out to do so. Your 2 inch Cheetah Runner is perfect for this. The Megarunner is also a great tool to complete this project as well.

This is also the time where you can distress edges, ink and doodle each layer before laying it down permanently. Once you have done that, and everything has dried, you can start assembling. I used my Teresa Collins Stickermaker as well for assembling some of the added elements you will see in the finished layout.

If you like a clean layout, disregard above.

This is my finished layout. I added some bling, paint and some splotches here and there.

*{Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons & Some Polka Dots}*

It's another fine Wednesday and that means I get to share some Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons inspiration with you today!

I am a fool for polka dots. I won't even try to hide it. I use a lot of polka dots...have I mentioned I love polka dots? Maybe you aren't clear on that. {。◕‿◕。}

I created a card using a plethora of Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons goodies. I used Love Bug White Polka Dots Digital Paper and a fantastic little ladybug...Ladybug Digital Clipart! These pieces compliment each other perfectly! Take a look:

Have a great Wednesday..I know summer is coming like a freight train...and that the school year is busy and crazy, take time today just to be in the moment and smile. Let the sun shine on you and enjoy it. ❤

*{Timeless Twine & Terrific Tuesday}*

...not to be confused with Pouty Monday...which is what Meg does...every.single.Monday.

Let's begin at the beginning (for lack of a better start to this story)....Meg's a needy dog *coughcoughbecauseIconstantlyheldherasapuppycoughcough* and Mondays are clearly an issue for her as everyone except me leaves her to go out into the world. She is quite attached to Daddy and her "kids". Each Monday, she is miserable and huffy. She literally pouts. My layout today using Graphite Gray and Cape Cod from Timeless Twine documents this forever. I'm so glad I captured the photo I did, it is a perfect representation of Meg being pouty.

Hope your week is off to a good start and that it only continues to get better as the week progresses! :)

❤ Twining Like a Boss ❤

I'm up over on Timeless Twine today!

I'm sharing with you a layout featuring my crazy kids and my Dad. My Dad, is the hidden focal point, he, who is notorious for the photobomb. As my journaling says, he is in pictures everywhere looking puzzled, sinister or goofy....and people everywhere are are wondering who the peculiar dude is in their pictures. It is now a tradition to have a photobomb with Pop. Paddy and Mack will be able to look back on this and smile. Mission accomplished. ❤

I used Aqua Blue and Cherry Red on this layout. You can find this over at Bella Creationz...and there's stuff on doesn't get much better than that!!

Timeless Twine, Blog Post 5-7-13, Shannon M.
Here's to a great Tuesday for everyone! ❤

*{Issues of the Paper Variety and Other Good Info}*

As you know...because I giddily announced it like a five year old in a room full of cupcakes...I was asked to join Paper Issues!

My first post is up today over on the blog....and I am not only sharing a layout with you...I am also sharing random issues that will leave you laughing or thinking, well..I always knew she was that I have peaked your interest, I will let you head over to Paper Issues to find out what these marvelous oddities may be!

However, I will leave you with the layout I created. I still can't get over it that I got to see this was beautiful and I had tears in my eyes much of the time...fighting them back because my Dad would tease me, was hard...but I couldn't fight the big, goofy grin...which was plastered on my face much of the show. I have loved The Beatles for as long as I can remember. ❤ It's a great memory I will now have forever.
