★*{Epiphany Crafts & Ruby Rock It! Holiday Goodness}*★

If you've been following the Epiphany Crafts blog this week, you've been enjoying Epiphany Crafts teaming up with Ruby Rock It! --- which is AWESOME! Today is my tun to share some inspiration with you. ❤

I am sharing a layout I created with Ruby Rock It's fabulous paper crafting goodness and Epiphany Crafts tools. This layout was so fun to create.

I surrendered the perfect Christmas tree in exchange for childlike glee from my two kiddos, and I would take their glee anyday over the perfectly placed tree. Take a look:

Thanks for letting me share!

❤{Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons & Good Cheer}❤

It's our last Design Team Wednesday share with you this year ❤ That's kind of sad, but you know what? There's a lot to look forward to in 2014.

I spend a lot of time this part of the year looking through pictures trying to find the perfect one for the Christmas card. This year I found the pictures in this layout...and I was so happy because I thought I had lost them. Paddy had just turned 4 and Mack was 2 in these pictures. I had happy tears in my eyes as I looked back thinking about how sweet they were and the excitement of Christmas!

I can't stop using the Vintage Christmas from Lisa's store. ❤ It's perfect. It has a beautiful, magical, whimsical feel. I used Vintage Christmas Peppermint Gingham, Vintage Christmas White Polka Dots, Vintage Christmas Chevron & Polka Dot. I know I will use it again before the year is out!!

❤{30 Days of Xyron is Wrapping Up!}❤

30 Days of Xyron is wrapping up, but there are a few ideas left! I am sharing a card with you that doubles as a gift card holder. ❤

I started out with a cute sentiment. Check out that cute Crafter's Companion stamp! The cardstock base is also from Crafter's Companion, it's ideal for stamps, it's texture is awesome.

Xyron30days2-1

The next step of course, is stamping it onto the white base.

Xyron30days2-2

Fill in your design with marker, pencil, chalks, whatever works for you. If you want for a little added effect, round the corners. I have to do this because I tend to stamp things crooked, this helps me out in making it look more linear..I also can't draw a straight line with a ruler.

Xyron30days2-3

You're now ready to start assembling your card. I cut a 6X6 base. I then added some papers from Studio Calico's Magical Line. See below.

Xyron30days2-4

Xyron30days2-5

Cut a strip of some fun coordinating papers, I used American Crafts Peppermint Express. I tied some fun twine around for an added embellishment before adding the pocket layer.

Xyron30days2-6

Here's the key, when you adhere the "pocket" to the card base, you're only goint to adhere the sides and the bottom, leaving the top open to slip in a gift card or money.

Xyron30days2-7

I then added some extra touches. I added some glittery touches as well, like the "snowballs", they pop off the page with Xyron's foam dots. I also added some snowflakes with Imaginisce's Colors of Christmas.

Mr. Sinatra couldn't have put it better:

Frosted windowpanes
Candles gleaming inside
Painted candy canes on the tree

Santa's on his way
He's filled his sleigh with things
Things for you and for me

It's that time of year
When the world falls in love
Every song you hear seems to say
Merry Christmas
May your new year dreams come true

❤{Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons & Merry Making}❤

I'm gathering inspiration and determination to put my tree up. The kids are hounding me daily. I looked back through Christmas pictures from last year and gawked over the tree....and then remembering how by the end I was in tears. I have this mania of having a perfect tree. It's a long standing feud. I worked in a Christmas store, used to decorate trees for the Chicago and Atlanta Marts....so it's serious business in the Morgan house. Only one other person I know shares this mania with me, my bff Kim, who has already texted me pictures of her trees. ....furthering the pressure to get the tree up. Perhaps I can just print out this layout and hang it from the ceiling.

The Vintage Christmas line over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons is so beautiful. It's so reminiscent of a magical, whimisical Christmas memory. I used: Vintage Christmas Peppermint Gingham, Vintage Christmas White Polka Dots, Vintage Christmas Chevron and Polka Dot & Peppermint Cutting Files.

Make sure you stop by the blog and look at everyone's fabulous creations!! I hope you're feeling the magic of Christmas this year.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!! ❤

★{Peppermint Sticks, Spun Sugar & Twine}★

...you'll fnd this post on the Timeless Twine blog today:

When I was little, my Auntie Catherine and Uncle Jim gave me one of the best gifts I ever received...The Nutcracker Suite album. Not only was it The Nutcracker Suite, it was a dual fold album with a centerfold of magical enchantment. I was instantly transported. I also received a Nutcracker book from Auntie Catherine and Uncle Jim, the year was 1981. This book is one of my very favorites because of the illustrations.

The funny thing is....I don't know that Auntie understands the impact this gift has had...each year much to my parents simultaneous delight and dismay...I performed the entire Nutcracker Suite in front of our fireplace hearth. I danced my wee heart out from the start of the overture to the final waltz. My Mom clapped with gusto in all the right places and my Dad doing his best to stay awake, they were amazingly wonderful parents.

I was listening to The Nutcracker Suite today as I do every year, my creations today are a reflection of that.

Here's a close up of some of the details:

I used Cherry Red and Natural White - these and other groovy things can be found over at Bella Creationz!

Have a sweet Tuesday friends. Enjoy the magic of the season. ❤

❤*{Xyron & Heidi Swapp}*❤

I know, that seems like such a ridiculously wonderful combination...like surreal, but it's true. True story. The team at Xyron got their hands on some *{BELIEVE}* from Heidi Swapp....I know, you're jealous. It's ok.

Sharon Callis, Denise Hahn, Linda Neff and I are sharing some HS/XYRON love with you today! You won't be disappointed, they have created some awesome stuff! ❤

I created this layout just for this week. Holidays are about tradition, togetherness and love. One of our traditions is Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Dinner. I am a bit obsessed with Charlie Brown and have properly brainwashed my children to be so as well. They came up with a tradition for our family which is eating Charlie Brown's version of Thanksgiving Dinner the day before Thanksgiving. Each year, I have to document it of course. It also is amazing to see each year how much Paddy and Mack have grown and changed.
