❤*{There's No Place Like Home}*❤

I was lucky enough to get home this summer and spend time with people I love.

Sometimes that's a much needed remedy when you're wondering about your path and why you may be on it. To be surrounded by the people that ground you, the people that love you and accept you..there's no better place to be.

Epiphany Crafts and The Paper Nest have been working together lately, creating some awesome crossover projects! It's my turn today to share some creativity with you.

This Paper Nest Dolls stamp was perfectly in line with my thoughts. I created this card using the Ellie in Oz Rubber Stampthe Heart 25 toolthe Round 25 toolHeart Bubble Caps  and the *{NEW}* Chevron 25 tool.

Here's a close up of some of the Epiphany Crafts and Paper Nest Doll Stamp goodness:

I love that I can branch out and try new things. I also may love that I got to create something Wizard of Oz related.

Thanks for letting me share with you!

Happy Wednesday!

★{Time to Shine with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!}★

Sometimes you need to send a friend or family member a word of encouragement! Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons has a perfect graphic for this!

Which is why I'm sharing a cute little pick me up card with you today!

I can't get enough of this file:

I break into a smile just looking at it! If this card doesn't make you smile, then you are in need of an intervention:

Here's a close up of the adorable light bulb...and his puffy cheeks...which you can create by outlining and filling in with clear drying adhesive.

Have a great Thursday!

☼☞{Things Are Just Punchy...}☜☼

There's so many great reasons to love SRM!

SRM makes me so happy that I can even create things about summer with a smile...that I'm telling you is happy. #happyseriouslyhappy

I'm sharing this card with you today, you can also find it on ❤{SRM's blog}

It's featuring SRM Punched Pieces!

There's {SMALL}

also {LARGE}

the colors available make creative possibilities endless!

I focus a lot on layers when I am creating. I always start with a base and build from that. Usually, my focus is also on colors. I think the key to layering is colors that compliment each other. Look below and you will see a trend. I started with the orange, placed the aqua on top. The yellow punched piece was placed on top of that. That becomes my base. From there I tuck things here and like the additional punched piece, the fish and placing the tag just slightly askew. I then added the beach ball and flip flops. They are adhered to vellum, so while they add a layer, they don't take away from what's behind them. The beauty of that, is I can add a foam dot behind the solid part of the sticker and no one is the wiser...adding dimension without sacrificing design. Wrapping twine around the card also adds a layer (that's an easy way to add dimension...if you're having trouble getting it to look just so, add a dab of clear glue behind the twine). Staples are also a big impact without sacrificing space. I hope you'll give all these little tricks a try!

Here's an extreme close up! 。◕‿◕。
