*{You Make Miso Happy}*

I've become a big fan of cards. I never thought that I would say that, I always felt like I was card impaired! I have come a long way card wise, but I think when you're excited to work with a company,  it makes it that much more easier to create.

I worked with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Silly Sushi Cutting Files on this friendship inspired card! It of course has a silly pun of course!

Here's a close up of the dumpling and miso soup bowl!

Check back on the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog tomorrow for a freebie, some new files and an awesome Guest Designer!

✿{hello friend! it's an SRM Stickers kind of day!}✿

There's never enough "just because" cards..SRM Stickers and Jane's Doodles together can help you create a fabulous just because card! Look at this "hello friend" card I created:

In this card you'll find fabulous the Little Miss Mia Stamp Set (see adorable dog), Boris the Bunny Stamp Set (see minty heart),  punched pieces, those always fabulous Sticker Stitches,  some sentiments thrown in for good measure (We've Got Your Sticker Plus/Birdie) and a project is never complete without twine (Ocean colored,  of course!). Whew, that was a mouthful...but see?!?! The possibilities are endless. You can create so many things with all of the goodies at SRM!

Here are a few close ups, if you haven't used these stamps must, the quality is phenomenal and the application is wonderful...easy, seamless and I am stamping if I'm telling you this, then RUN, don't walk to these stamps...marry them if you have to!

I'm serious. Even the sentiment was super easy to apply and work with. I LOVE these stamps. I likely could have just started the apocalypse because everyone who knows me, knows I am deeply intimidated by stamps! You can see how the sentiments and stitches work perfectly with these stamps as well! See below:

Thank you for letting me share with you today! ❤ Hope this card inspires you to create something great or conquer a crafty fear!

❤*{W} On Wednesday | W Is For....Wedding}*❤

I am so excited to be sharing my first post with you for Ruby Rock-It! I took "W" in a literal sense and applied it to some of the fabulous wedding collections that Ruby Rock-It has...❤
I created five cards, count em' five! I was inspired by the colors, textures and embellishments. I could've created more, but I took what seems like a gazillion pictures and I didn't want to overwhelm you!
I'll start out with showing you my process on this set of cards.
I gathered all the things I wanted to use, it was quite the pile, so I will spare you the crazy and dial it down for you showing you the after I cut and prepped pile.

You'll see in the numbered pictures below how I assembled each card.
1. I started with a 4.25" X 5.5" base, using Kinda Krafty papers.
2. I added a 4" X 4" square using the 4X6 True Love Wedding Embellishment Paper Pack or the Get Hitched Collection.
3. The next layer added is the paper strip along the bottom, they all came from Get Hitched Bunting
4. The 4th layer is either a ribbon or bling layer (Floral in Gold, White or Black & Bling).
5. This is the layer where I began adding additional embellishments and sentiments. You can personalize each card you create as needed when you have a great base. Ruby Rock-It has dimensional stickers, wood veneers and all kinds of die cuts perfect for this!
6. This is just a close up of some of the details so you can see how fantastic Ruby Rock-It is!

Here are the cards in no particular order:

RRI APRIL 2015, CARD 4, Shannon M.

You can see all the layers in the cards, that's the best thing about Ruby Rock-It, the products are dense and high quality, the texture of the papers is nice and thick (also great for distressing), it's a win-win!

This card, by rounding the corners from Get Hitched Cut Outs, you can make it look as if you added a PL card to the card front:

and a few close ups of this one, the dimension is something to see:

Looking for a cute way to use your Epiphany Crafts Round 25 punch? I'm going to show you how to add a sweet little detail to a card in today's post.  I created this card using the Heart 25 and Round 25 tools.

EPC April 2015, Shannon M.

You'll notice two semi-circles tucked here and there in the card. If you'd like to achieve that look for your card or project, simply line up the text or graphic in your tool, punch and then trim in half. You can tuck it in a flap as pictured in the right hand top corner, or you can use it as a "tab" as pictured in the left hand lower side (xoxo). This is a simple accent to add a lot of oomph to your card. See the close up below for greater detail:

Thank you for letting me share with you and hope you have an amazing week!

❤{Oh SRM, I Love You So..}❤

Whenever I sit down to start a layout, I always find myself reaching for SRM Press, they are created to amaze. I find myself using a plethora of products from SRM on my layouts, cards and projects.

I created this layout using quite a few SRM goodies.

Take a look at this close up, each box features a product that you can find in the SRM store!

The top the brand new *{CHALKBOARD MARKERS}*! They are so versatile, you an use them on all kinds of surfaces and for all kinds of ideas! I actually used the markers to create my title for this layout.

Jump to the top right box, you'll find some *{Sticker Stitches}*, look at the seamless way it marries the paper to the photo!

If you look at the bottom left, you'll find yourself looking at two awesome SRM products...*{Labels By The Dozen}* (in black and white) and *{We've Got Your Sticker/Sweet}*.

If you look to the last corner, you'll find some twine, more stitches and another sweet sentiment.

There are so many ways you can mix SRM into your projects. Thank you for letting me share a few of those ways with you today!
