*{ the little things }* with SRM

Living in the moment, I am not one to look far ahead in the future. I am a procrastinator by nature and I have been known to stay up in the wee hours of the morning to pack for a trip or moving.

Imagine my delight as I created a sweet little mini album and/or date book for 2016...granted I could have set the end of day in motion by doing this, but at least you can scroll through some cute pictures while the world ends...I'm sorry and you're welcome simultaneously. ☺

I used some BRAND, SPANKING NEW SRM goodies just for this album!

This project features stickers from the Year of Memories Sticker/2016Sticker Stitches (of course), doiliestwine and punched pieces.

Here's the cover, you'll find a doily tucked beneath the layers, some twine, some sticker stitches and a brightly colored 2016 tab.

Open up the pages of this album and you'll see sticker stitches and the months here and there. The focus on this album is "little things" can use it for remembering birthdays, dates, or mini month milestones.

March and April are cheery and simple:

May and June have some twine and summery zest!

Here's a peek at July and August:

Check out the September tab! Hello October!

November and December is very notable, ending the year in a sweet way. ♥

Thank you for letting me share with you today!

RRI July Anything Goes 2, Shannon M.

Ruby Rock-It's Fusion Collection (2015) is perfect for documenting celebrations! Bright colors and versatile patterns make it so easy to layer and add details to your projects, cards and layouts. ♥

I'm sharing this layout I created celebrating family, laughter and The 4th of July! We are blessed with friends that are much more like family..and every time we get together, it's hokey, but it's the best. The kids had a ton of fun at the fair. Paddy got to spend time with his boys, Nolan and Lennon. The girls were three peas in a pod..Mack, Macey and Lexi are lifelong friends in the making....and everyone got to love on Charlie. ♥ It was a good day!

⤜{Little Lamm is Picture Perfect ♥}↠

Sharing summertime memories is somewhat of an enigma in my life. Summer is sort of a hide from the outside like a troll under a bridge kind of occurrence. However, this summer is incredibly different...because we are moving home. We spent the 4th in Michigan and I wore pants...and I was overjoyed. My family and friends think I have lost my mind, but I can assure you, I am fully of sound mind.

I couldn't wait to upload photos and begin scrapping!

The Little Lamm and Co.  Capture Scrapbook Kit had exactly what I was looking for to document this picture of three of my favorite girls on this planet! I keep turning to this kit for layouts, the colors and elements are absolutely stunning.

↞★{Ruby Rock-It: I Heart America!}★↠

It's almost July 4th!

Where has the year gone!?!?

People everywhere are celebrating America and gathering with family and friends to have picnics, enjoy fireworks and love of country. ♥

☆ I'm sharing a fun and festive project with you today. ☆

It's red, white and has stars...and has the spirit of giving in mind.

RRI JULY 1A, Shannon M.Shannon Morgan 2-001

This project is a boxed card set with a twist, it is patriotic and full of details.

RRI JULY 15, 1K, Shannon M.Shannon Morgan 2-001

Pictured above is a box with a lid using papers from the Ruby Rock-It Fusion line. These papers are perfect for paper boxes, they are thick and have fabulous texture. I glued twine all around the lid and added a bit of detail to the top. ☺ Ok, I added a lot of detail. You'll see a dimensional star using more of those Fusion papers. A happy, flowery circle in red is peeking out from the star. A project wouldn't  be a project without sparkle, well at least to me, so you'll find plenty of it in this post. You can create all kinds of sparkle using Ruby Rock-It Bling. The best part of using RRI bling is you can take it apart or use it as a whole.

I wanted to fill the box with something, so I created sweet hello cards using more Fusion, Krafty Goodness and shaped tags, using various sizes and shapes.

RRI July 2015, 1L, Shannon M.Shannon Morgan 2-001

I created five cards that measured 3 1/2" X 4". They sentiments are all a general hello, so whoever is the recipient of this gift can use the cards whenever needed or in a pinch. ♥ I also created envelopes with labels, perfect for mailing or writing a sweet note on front.

Here's a shot of the project as a set, which includes: the box, the lid, the gift tag, the cards and the envelopes.

THANK YOU for letting me share this with you! I enjoyed creating it very much. I hope it inspires you to create something red, white & blue! Happy 4th if you're celebrating, and if you're in a different part of the world and it's just another day...have a great one!
