We are celebrating Dancette, Happy Days and cards!

These collections coordinate perfectly together! ❤

I'm sharing a tutorial with you today.

I created a set of cards using the Dancette, Happy Days, a monochromatic color scheme and some card stock.

RRI 8-24, Step by Step, Shannon M.Shannon Morgan 2-001

1. Create a folded card measuring 4" W X 9.25" L and set aside.  Using the Dancette collection cut a 3.5" W X 8.75" L piece of each color you'd like to use. Adhere it to the card front as shown in box 1.

2. Cut a roughly 3.5" X 6"  12x12 Happy Days Cardstock Hoot using the wood grain side. Adhere it to your card front like shown in figure 2.

3. Using the 12x12 Happy Days Cardstock Patchwork, use color coordinating squares for each card. Tuck over the side of one of the corners. Adhere to the card front as shown in picture 3.

4. Using scraps from your white card stock base, cut a 2.75" X 4", tear off the top and adhere to the card front like you see in picture four. Add a piece of coordinating washi tape and a staple.

5. 12x12 Happy Days Cardstock Captured Moments is such an awesome piece of paper! Cut out any jar you like and adhere it to the front of the card. Equally awesome is 12x12 Happy Days Cardstock Chit Chat paper in this collection, you can use many of the words for sentiments and cards! Check out box 5. I used dimensional glue dots so the sentiment pops off the page.

6. In this picture, you see the completed card. I added a fun banner with twine at the bottom using the Happy Days Die Cut Pack. I also added Happy Days Droplets and some mist.

This is the perfect formula for a bunch of card making.

Here is each card of the set I created:

*{A Very Merry Mitten}*

It's Thursday and it's my turn to share some Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons with you!

I'm taking a break from smiling food.

I know...I know..don't freak out!

Christmas stuff...this is all because I know the snow is coming and it makes me so happy.

I made this tag to share with you using the Christmas Cookies Cutting Files, I merged the mitten and made it into a great tag for a special gift.

It opens up with plenty of room to write a message and attach to a gift:

Thank you for entertaining my Christmas crazy! Make sure you check out Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons tomorrow for a great freebie, a Guest Designer and some new files!

oh SRM how • i woof you •

I'm sharing this card with you today featuring some awesome stamps and sticker stitches.

One thing you need to know about the new SRM Stamps, they are fabulous for creating a background! I stamped the XO randomly with white ink on chalkboard card stock to create a subtle, yet awesome background.

Sticker stitches anchor in the magenta polka dots and the border along the bottom of the card.

I know...the dogs, get to the dogs! They are available...A Dog's Life...they're in the store!

I used ombre ink for the hearts and colored the sweet pups in with watercolor pencils, before gently blending them.

This card is perfect for a friend, a sweet niece or daughter...just a sweet way to let someone know you're thinking of them!

Thank you for letting me share with you. ♥

· • ⸰⁕ May Your Days Be Merry & Bright ⁕⸰ • ·

I'm that person.

The person who gets excited for Christmas at the beginning of Fall...but this year, the mania starts early, because I am a Michigander again.

That's right, a Mitten Girl and my heart swells with happiness to know that I am going to see snow and have winter and Christmas magic that only cold weather can bring.

I've started making Christmas cards and I am very much inspired! Luckily...Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons has a ton of really adorable Christmas and holiday inspired files!

I used the stocking from the Christmas Cookies Cutting Files set to create this card:

Here's a close up of the stocking and some of the details:

Thank you for letting me share with you!

Make sure you're hopping back here this weekend for a very fun blog hop coming up!

❄❅{ SRM · warm wishes · merry christmas}❅❄

Call me crazy, but I have no problem creating Christmas cards in July or August.

SRM Stickers has so many awesome new products coming to you! I added some of these to my project I'm sharing with you today!

I created this card using some brand new Jane's Doodles stamps...they are so very fun! I love the way the stamps are so easy to work with, you'll want to pick up all of the new stamps for sure!

Take a look at this card:

If you want some close ups..I've got 'em.

If you look behind the'll see another new SRM offering...LACE! It was such a light, airy and elegant backdrop for this card...a perfect touch! You can use it so many ways.

Here's the close up of the other snowman and snowflakes. There's another peek at that awesome lace.  Look at the details in these stamps!

These stamps are amazing, I can't say it enough, I am not the best at stamping, so if I say the stamps are awesome, they truly are. I felt like I had been stamping for a long time! I didn't have to stamp and stamp and stamp to get the perfect image.

Thank you for letting me share with you today!

Christmas is only 163 days away! Shut up, Shannon!

⚓Ruby Rock-It | Lovin' Layouts: Laker Pride⚓

This fall, we become a football family.

We become Lakers...we are home.

Patrick, our sweet (not so) baby boy, full of courage, spirit and determination began a brand new journey. He joined the football team....not just any team..the Our Lady of the Lakes JV football team. The very team his Pop (Denny Gardner) played for back in the 60's. He's filling some big shoes. He wants to ask for number 47 (seven is his lucky number and he wants to honor his Pop, whose number was 40)...I'm sure he'll get whatever they give him, but he can always hope.

My eyes have swelled with tears many times this week. Karl and I are so proud of him for sticking out Football Camp and not only making it through, but having nothing but praise from his coaches. We are home, anchored in faith, Go LAKERS! ⚓

I created a layout using some awesome Ruby Rock-It products documenting this:

RRI AUGUST 4, SHANNON M.Shannon Morgan 2-001

There's a true mish mash of lines on this layout, but that's the beauty of Ruby Rock-It, you can flawlessly combine lines.

You'll see some Year-In-Review, Something Blue, Krafty Goodness and East Coast Essence in the close ups I'm sharing below:
