♥ Pinch Me! ♥

It's summer! It's chilly! It's serendipity!

I'm celebrating this today with this adorable card!

You'll find this Oh, Crab stamp set on the card:

Is this not the cutest?!?!

Here is what I created with the set:

Look at that adorable crab!

Happy Wednesday! Hope you have a great rest of the week! I hope your summer is going well! ♥

★Hooray USA!★

Hi all, July 4th is coming up!

This holiday is so much to our family. It's my sweet girl Mackenzie's favorite holiday. She loves fireworks. Karl loves watching her happy face light up and listening to her laughter. Patrick loves all of the "foods" he can eat in celebratory amounts of glee...though Patrick just loves food in general right now, he's 13.
I love stars and red, white and blue and all the day symbolizes.
I created a 5X7 frame for my mantle celebrating the USA. I used a ton of SRM goodness. There is A LOT of SRM goodness to choose from!
Here is the frame, it's actually a "shadow box" type frame, which works perfect for someone like me who layers "all the things"…☺

If you take a closer look at the details, you'll see twine, labels, sticker stitches, borders, tiny borders, patterned vinyl and even sequins.

❤{Hello Friend ❤ Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons}❤

Happy Thursday, we meet again.

I'm sharing a friendly card with you! Sadly, there are no food puns...but there's hearts..and that's pretty much the next best things..I think only stars could top it.

I used Hello Bubble Cutting FilesA2 Card Bases 2 Cutting Files and Heart Lock Cutting Files for this happy hello!

PPPR JUNE BLOG POST, 6-23-16, Shannon M.

Summer...bleh. If you know me even a little, you know I loathe summer. Thankfully, I have a great tie to the creative community. They know when to uplift me. ☺

Clique Kits has a wonderful kit out this month, I was honored to be asked to be a guest designer. They have a great offering each month, the kits are full of paper, embellishments, specially crafted items that are exclusive to the kit and printables!

I wasted no time creating some cards with all of the kit contents. I created a bunch, as in 12, cards for my post.

There were so many great things to choose from, the cards came on like a fever..once I started, I was instantly inspired to create another, I could have created even more...but I made myself stop.

THANK YOU again Erica and Clique Kits for the wonderful opportunity to create for you, I hope I did the kit justice.  ❤

*{Summer is a Challenge}*

Luckily there's Pretty Cute Stamps to make it easier.

I know, I know...I'm probably the only person on the planet who loathes summer...well Snow Miser, Frosty, Jack Frost and I...there's no surprise there.

It's the kick off of the Pretty Cute Stamps Challenge. This month, the challenge is for you to share Summertime themed projects you create using Pretty Cute Stamps.

The whole team created AWESOME projects to inspire to do just that! I encourage you to head over to the Pretty Cute Stamps blog and check them all out!

I created a summery, campy inspired card for this challenge using Shine Bright

❤ It's All About Heart ❤

Good Morning!  Shannon here today to share some of my Bible Journaling with you.  Bible journaling is such a wonderful and personal craft.    By the way, SRM has a Bible Journaling Facebook group called Bible Journaling Journey.  Come join us HERE.
June is Ordinary Time for my faith, but it is anything from ordinary. We devote a whole month to The Sacred Heart of Jesus, not to be overshadowed, we also honor The Immaculate Heart of Mary. These two hearts work in everyone's lives, whether they realize it or not. For those of us who call on them daily, they are a source of peace, love, growth, comfort, devotion, a safe place to tell your sorrows and joys to.
SRM June Bible Journaling, Shannon M, 2016
My page I am sharing with you, it's a declaration of sorts, the reading is a sad one, before Jesus dies on the cross, and breathes his final breath, but it is a powerful declaration. Mary is mother to us all. She loves us and wants the very best for us. She is our protector, she is the one who wraps her arms around us in deep sorrow or celebratory joy. She is amazing and all the love in the world could never compare to the love she feels for each and every one of us.
SRM Bible Journaling, Close up 3, Shannon M., 2016
I used many SRM goodies to create this page, the products are the perfect size for the limited margins in a journaling bible, and you truly can add dimension without bulk. I used SRM Glassine Bags as a subtle layer, you can still see the text and colors behind.  Large Scalloped Punched Pieces make a big impact and  an additional layer.
SRM June Bible Journaling, Close up 2, Shannon M., 2016
If you are looking for a quick way to add some journaling, SRM has tons of stickers with great sentiments, I used Free Style/Thrive and Sentiment/Shine Your Light to add some loving words. I can't complete any project without using my Le Pen or Sticker Stitches.

I used so many more great things available to you, here is a complete list:
Have a wonderful day & thank you for letting me share!  ❤

You Are My Sunshine ❤

Happy Thursday!

I hope you are having a really good week!

I'm sharing some sunshine with you on this summery Thursday.

I used one of my favorite files ever because it's so versatile (you can use it for banners, cards, etc.)..A2 Card Base 3 Cutting Files and a cheery sun that Lisa has here in the store as a cutting file or over at Pretty Cute Stamps as a stamp, Rain or Shine Cutting Files or PCS Sunshiny Day.

PPPR June Blog 2016, Shannon M

I used a digi stamp of the sunshine and with water color pencils, finished the design.

Thanks for letting me share, there's a lot going on this weekend..check out the PPPR Facebook page for updates and stay tuned for a fun Friday Freebie!

⁕{Be the Light}⁕

Good morning dear readers! ❤

There is a lot of Bible Journaling inspiration out there, it's almost overwhelming. EVERY single entry is beautiful...whether you're a beginner or you're an individual who teaches workshops, it's all created out of devotion and love.
Some pages are lumpy, and others have only a few words on them. I'm still finding my style. You may be still finding yours, or even afraid to begin, jump in friend, spread the word and remember this is another way you're leaving a piece of yourself here for your loved ones.
You'll find that sometimes pens alone are a formidable tool for getting your thoughts onto paper.
SRM Stickers carries Le Pens in a variety of colors...they are perfect for your planners, doodling, writing a heartfelt note, addressing envelopes, all the lost arts of simple thoughtfulness. These pens are also versatile, easy to work with and can color small areas with ease. I wouldn't recommend them for coloring large areas.
This page features scripture from the Gospel of John:
Here is a close up of the highlighted text that I wanted to feature:
I worked in a warm color palette because the entry made me feel warm and safe. I used red, because it made me think of love and it compliments yellow and orange so well.
I used Le Pens from the following sets:  NeonPrimary and Dark.
