I'm sharing my first post with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L with you today! I'm excited to share with you because it involves a little DIY. I'm talking planner stickers. DIY planner stickers.
I made these planner stickers using cardstock, my Silhouette and Adhesive Sheets (12X12) from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
I created stickers using a template I found online, you can do a search and find a free template compatible with your cutting machine. Here's the template I used. I used patterns, fills and fonts I had in my library to create these stickers. You can get as detailed as you like...or you can keep it simple.
Once you have created your stickers, print them out. Tip: Make sure you add the registration marks, or the designs won't cut correctly and all of your hard work will have been for nothing.
Ok so, another tip...don't do what I did here and waste precious adhesive (like I did)...trim the 12X12 ahead of time to the size you're working with, in my case it was 8.5X11...I just left this because I wanted to show you that even designers make mistakes. Smooth your cardstock to the adhesive sheet, getting rid of bubbles. Set aside.
Once you've printed out your stickers and adhered them to the Adhesive Sheets, they're ready for the "cut" step.
After the sheets are cut, you're ready to add them to your planner...so go forth and plan! Use them all, use only some, save them for later, the options are endless at this point since you created them on your own!
Here's a few close ups of the planner stickers in my planner:
Thanks for letting me share this fun project with you, hope you learned a little, or are inspired to create your own planner stickers!! Make sure you're checking out the Scrapbook Adhesives blog for great inspiration from our team!
