★{Xyron & Core'dinations Blog Hop Day 1}★

It's a brand new week and Xyron is welcoming in the week with Blog Hop with Core'dinations

Once again, the girls at Xyron and the Core-dination team has been hard at work creating inspiration for you. Today from the Xyron team, Gini Cagle, Denise Hahn and I are up and we hope you're inspired to create new things!

I created this card with some awesome Core'dinations Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Shattered Collection and Xyron adhesives:

Here's a close up of some of the scrappy details:

Stay tuned all week...and make sure you're commenting! There are some great scrappy giveaways up for grabs!!

*{Xyron/Graphic 45/Petaloo..Day 4}*

All week long Xyron, Graphic 45 & Petaloo have been bringing you Autumn inspiration in the form of a super crazy fun blog hop!

The teams have been hard at work creating beyond ah-mazing creations!

Jennifer Priest, Angella Peardon and I are up today. ❤

I created a frame for this event!

I started by taking a 4X6 frame and pullling it apart. I am not using the glass because I am making this a dimensional, in your face frame.

I began by using the actual backing of the frame and adhering paper right to it, your 2 inch Cheetah Runner would work great for this, just sayin'. 。◕‿◕。

I then began adding a few layers at the top and the bottom:

Once I had the layers placed and adhered the way I wanted them, I started building the middle of the project. I began with a purple background, because I knew it would pop and I like the contrast:

The Steampunk Spells Collection has so many great bits and pieces to build layers.

Layering is something that is personal preference and I don't have any magic formula. I really think anyone who layers would tell you that you layer until it "feels right".

Once I have added layers and adhered them all down( can either create your layers and then adhere...or you can go by feel and adhere as you go), I put the frame back together. I started adding to the outside of the frame.

I have issues with leaving "white space" or whateveryou would like to call it. Luckily, this always seems to turn out ok for me. I added the paprika trim pops to the corners and some awesome Petaloo flowers to the corner.

It didn't feel like quite enough, so I added a few more embellishments to corners and sides of the frame. Xyron has really great adhesive tools for glue dots and foam dots. After I had everything added that I wanted, I added some glitter glue, I also have issues with glitter took all I had not to use mist on this project.

Here's the finished project, thanks for letting me share my step by step with you!

*{Twine, Odd Numbers & Other Issues}*

Sharing my issues with you today...I may have a mild addiction to twine. It's probably more than mild, luckily Paper Issues has a *{Current Issue}* that feeds this for me. Better still, I get to share some creativity with you today!

I created this layout celebrating Mack's journey into the number 9. I am so happy that this is a year of odd number birthday's...I dislike even numbers. They annoy there's another issue shared with you....Hefe would say I have a plethora of them (and if you can identify that last sentence...then we are probably kindreds).

Paper Issues, 9-19-13, Shannon M.

There's still time for you to link up to the *{Current Issue}* and just an FYI...there's so much new scrappy goodness at the Paper Issues store! Take a look!!
